1. Description of tricone bit
Gauge Structure
Multiple gauge protection with gauge trimmers on heel and gauge inserts on the gauge surface of the cone, tungsten carbide inserts and hardfacing on the shirttail increases gauge holding capability and bearing life.
Bearing Structure
Journal bearing and roller bearing types are available to be chosen. Abrasion & seizure resistance, loading capacity, stability of the bearing are well improved, suitable for high speed rotary drilling.
Seals and Lubrication
The advanced metal seals improve the reliability and stability of the bearing sealing. Pressure difference type compensating system assures a good greasing lubrication function.
IADC
Vary from 114--637 applicable for the hole drilling in the upper section with good drillability.
Vary from 512--732 applicable for mining.
