Festool’s Systainer (short for system container) design has made its way from precise power tool and accessory storage to all-in-one products themselves, such as a speaker and a dust extractor. Now, Festool is gearing up with something a bit different: hand tools. Take a closer look at what the limited edition Festool Systainer ratchet and socket tool set has to offer.

The Festool Systainer ratchet set is the company’s first comprehensive ratchet set. It has the majority of what you would ever need for tightening and loosening screws, nuts, and rods by hand. It includes 1/2-inch and 1/4-inch fine-toothed reversible ratchets with 72 teeth.

The 1/4-inch ratchet has sockets ranging in size from 5mm to 13mm and 5/32-inch to 1/2-inch. The 1/2-inch ratchet has sockets from 13mm to 22mm and 1/2-inch to 1 inch.

There are 1/2-inch and 1/4-inch extensions (two lengths for each drive), universal joints, and socket wrench inserts.

The set also includes a fine-toothed reversible bit ratchet with 60 teeth and a 6° swing angle, which comes with a 1/4-inch adapter for sockets. You get a “stubby” screwdriver that comes with a bit holder, too.

All of your ratchets, sockets, and bits are stored in the EPP tool inlay which has spots for each specific tool and accessory.

The limited-edition Festool Systainer Ratchet Set retails for $249 on Festool’s site. It’s set to release in July 2022. This set is a limited edition, so it will only be available while supplies last.
