After Gerwyn Price defeated Gary Anderson 7-3 in the final last year to win the championship, he started defending his PDC World Darts Championship this week.

But for Price, he believes that he is far from reaching his best form, and there will be more world championship titles in the future.

"If you think I am the finished article, I am still far from the finished article," he told Sky Sports.

"I only played darts for nine years and seven years at PDC. I still have a lot of things to do. I still have a lot in the tank.

"I will become more stable. I believe that in the next few years, I will become more dominant, because in terms of maintaining stability in the game, I am still far from what I want to achieve. ."

"Give me another two or three years, and I think I will be more dominant than I am now-even if I am the world champion and the number one in the world.

"But in two or three years, I will be more confident and more stable. I think I can rule more in the next few years."

But what will his dominance in this sport look like? Price thinks it is similar to Phil Taylor.

"My thoughts might be more like Phil Taylor," Price replied.

"Michael is dominant, but he didn't win every game. Don't get me wrong, he won every game. But he did not dominate every game like Phil. I might Will look forward to gaining more Phil Taylor-style dominance."
